Guess what! I bought this plant online, and it's on its way now. What do you think I should prepare, guys? Of course, I'm moving it to a new pot. I'm worried I don't know enough to look after this plant properly. Thank you so much for your help!

Hello, Jennifer! I'm so happy to tell you how to care for this plant. It's really very easy! This plant is the same as other tropical plants because it likes shade or indirect sunlight. Just make sure you water it at least once a week. It also needs high humidity and a planting mix that drains well so it doesn't get too much water. Then, every two years or so, give it a little fertilizer.

The lemon meringue pothos is a real sweetheart! It's low-maintenance and undemanding, making it the perfect plant for those of us who might have a busy life. It loves indirect light and regular watering, but it's pretty easygoing otherwise.

Here's a little secret: keep your plant's soil consistently moist, and it will be your best friend. You can gently mist it whenever it feels dry.

I always use the best fertilizer, and I'm happy to let you know what that is. It's a citrus fertilizer with a higher nitrogen content, since they're essentially a citrus plant. The other option I use most often is an NPK, such as 10-5-5.

You too can enjoy this stunning plant! All you need to do is get your hands on a planting medium with good drainage. Try a mixture of soil, perlite and orchid bark – you won't be disappointed.
